This is the Official SAUSSA Constitution as amended in 2022.

It is hereby established that the SAUSSA Games are such that: The Games Rules and Regulations shall not deviate in any manner from the SAUSSA Constitution.

Member University to write an executive summary of 500 words maximum on their overall impression of the hosts in organizing the SAUSSA Games.

The SAUSSA’s Social Cohesion Accord is a statement of intent which: Places specific emphasis on the promotion of social cohesion within SAUSSA against all odds.

Social media presents opportunities for promotion of social cohesion, sport and recreation – but at the same time poses unique challenges. SAUSSA is looking to leverage social media to strengthen social bonds between individual members and member universities through provisioning of regulated online communities.

The Southern African Universities Staff Sports Association embodies social cohesion and comradeship through sporting, cultural and recreational activities. Towards preserving this unique character, a model for effective self-regulation is essential.

A university seeking membership with SAUSSA should meet the criteria presented in this document.
